My mental health day on Tuesday included a few power walks up the hills by my house.... my shins and calves felt that today in squats πŸ˜‚ and got to hand off to my hunny again.... I think he likes me πŸ₯°

Today was one of those days where mentally I was fried. The class I’m in for my bachelors is more stressful than anything I’ve experienced so far. From passing these 6 hour long tests to having literally the most difficult team for my group assignments. That being said I did my first squat and was super upset. It felt heavy even though it’s 140 lbs and I felt off. 
A little prep talk from the amazing boyfriend and adjustment to how I grip the bar and 😳 best squat form so far πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» I am greatful for @nicholas_anderson_vta reminding me that even if I feel off mentally I can still pull through.

Oh look more gym stuff. Did you miss It? 
Deadlifts felt slightly heavy today and this was a light weight 😳 I’ve been a little hard on myself lately with not getting heavier in my lifts. Forgetting that A. I’m a newbie 😝 B. Health, travel, new medications, and sleep all play into my lifts. 
So here’s to appreciating that my deadlift form is getting much better, the weight will come πŸ‘
