Cozy weekend getaway 🤍
at @hotelranga

Located in the heart of south Iceland, Hotel Rangá is a luxury resort with 52 rooms, a gourmet restaurant and an on-site observatory. My personal favorite about this hotel are the themed master suites, the billiard table and of course the outdoor hot tub 👌🏼

Iceland's extraordinary landscapes make you feel like you’re on another planet 🛸
The geothermal area of Hveradalir, a small valley of red rhyolite mountains, steaming vents and bubbling rivers 🌋

The mountain behind me is called Hekla 🏔
It’s one of Iceland's most active volcanoes in Iceland, over 20 eruptions have occurred in and around the volcano since 874. During the Middle Ages, Europeans called the volcano the "Gateway to Hell"

Faroe Islands - day 5
Drangarnir is the collective name for two sea stacks between the islet Tindhólmur and the island Vágar in the Faroe Islands. The individual names of the sea stacks are Stóri Drangur and Lítli Drangur ⛰🌊⛰

Faroe Islands - day 4
Scottish Highland Cattle 🦬
The breed is well suited for the landscape of the Faroe Islands. Their thick coat insulates them from the elements. While most traditional cattle breeds would fare poorly in these conditions, the highland cattle thrives with ease.

Faroe Islands - day 3
We sailed with this old schooner boat from 1945 called Norðlýsið and discover the fantastic views of the Faroe Islands from the ocean.
I’ll definitely do an overnight trip with them next time I visit ⛵️
