NPC Wellness Competitor Adventure w/ @grantgainz 🌎 ✈️ 🥾 🏕
We haven’t had AC in our house in over a week 🥵 (waiting on some part under warranty to come in 🙏🏻). Luckily we have an RV to sleep in that’s ice cold, I’m not cooking anything, and we are finding ways to stay cool. This little pup had one of the best days of her life!!!

Last weekend, we were lucky enough to to have a night at the Eau Palm Beach. We won the night, because at $850 a night that’s something we’d just never spend our money on 🤣 The pool was gorgeous, rooms were beautiful, the staff was amazing and the gym even had @onepeloton bikes. We ordered room service and lived it up like Kevin McCalister.

Last weekend, we were lucky enough to to have a night at the Eau Palm Beach. Thank you to everyone for the birthday messages. This has been the best birthday ever! It started with a great dinner at Oak and Ember Thursday, and continued to a surprise weekend at a beach house on the intercostal. We walked to dinner, floated in the ocean, watched manatees and dolphins, and witnessed a beautiful storm. It was perfect!! @grantgainz really picked one up 👏🏼

I wanted to get in the best shape of my life when I turned 30, and I’ve been working out ever since.  I had no plans to ever be a competitor, I just worked out so I could eat more 🤣If you told me even two years ago that I’d fall in love with the sport of bodybuilding, I’d call you crazy. 
If this was 38, I’m excited to see what 39 brings!!! (And to get back on that stage in the spring!) Thanks so much @imperial_physiques for all the amazing photos, and great times. Definitely the best gym (and gym family) around.

When I first started lifting, I set some pretty lofty goals for myself. 300 + squat, 300+ deadlift, and a 200 lb clean and jerk. It’s taken me NINE years, but I hit a 305 deadlift yesterday!! 💪🏻🙌🏼
I’m a quad dominate lifter, and it has taken me forever to bring my hamstrings up. My feedback from the judges was to bring my hamstrings and glutes up, so that is what I’ve been working on…I think it’s working 🤞🏻🙏🏻

When I first started lifting, I set some pretty lofty goals for myself. 300 + squat, 300+ deadlift, and a 200 lb clean and jerk. It’s taken me NINE years, but I hit a 305 deadlift yesterday!! 💪🏻🙌🏼 I’m a quad dominate lifter, and it has taken me forever to bring my hamstrings up. We had a pretty scary home accident the other night when changing a propane tank. Luckily, everyone and the house are fine. It could’ve been a pretty bad outcome if we didn’t own a fire extinguisher 🧯 I am certainly thankful for @grantgainz

I finished up working 96 out of 120 hours. (That’s 4 out of 5 days for me). I got in a workout every morning. If something is important to you, it gets done. For me, exercise doesn’t just make my body feel good, it also puts me in a better mood for the rest of the day.  And yes, I do take rest days (but I’ll still move).

 We are headed to NC for the weekend, so I made sure to prioritize my workouts early in the week, in case I can’t get to a gym when we travel. ❤️💪🏻
