@the.sugarpapi is @si.senorita.bar039;s new baby. I received a decadent box full of A alfajors, conitos, and churros delivered on Sunday by the team, just when I decided I was going to go on a health kick. 😂 If you love dulche de leche, the dessert box is for you - the alfajor and conitos have these fillings! The churros were thick and crispy, however more on the dense side. Check these new kids on the block when you get the chance!
It can be hard to stay positive right now when things are a bit sh*t. We all have our moments. When I feel a bit lost, down or frustrated, I try to take a moment to breathe in and remember the things I039;m lucky to have. To be able to wake up to a new day again. To have a roof over my head. To have access to food. To have my family near me. My little wins and the opportunity to learn lessons the past year. Find your lucky. I039;ve been a bit MIA as I039;m trying to get my mojo back as I039;ve been very flat. This quote by Helen Keller popped up on my feed. It reminds us that you should try and look on the bright side of life, although we know the shadows will always be there. Don039;t look back at the shadows/darkness to confirm it039;s there when there is no need. It will only distract you. Keep your attention to the light, reflect, smile and be grateful that you are still alive. Hope everyone is doing ok. 🧡
What Melbournians usually have for breakfast. ☕ @coffee_supreme_au Coffee from @brownbagels down Equitable Pl, Melb CBD. The CBD is super quiet. I039;m making my way through the little nook and crannies to support local coffee shops! Any favourites you have in the CBD?
When having a cocktail at a bar on a school night was the norm. I039;m looking forward to the day when we can do this again! 🥃The B.A.B and B.A.N.A.N.A.S cocktail at @bouvardiamelbourne in the CBD on Bourke St. Pop it on your post-lockdown bar list!
First thing that comes to my mind when I look at eggs is ... Korean steamed eggs (Gyeranjjim 계란찜). I039;m a bit obsessed with this dish at the moment and I only realised recently how easy it is to make! I039;m loving the site www.koreanbapsang.com @koreanbapsang for recipes. Thanks @johnjjkim for the recommendation! Egg Photo: @shutterstock Korean steamed egg photo : mine Editing App : Snapseed
Monday mornings always seem to be full of reflections for me. I always start my morning with this 5 minute guided gratitude mediation on one of my favourite apps @insighttimer. You can find anything from guided to non guided mediations, music, live events and courses for kids and adults. I039;ve been using it for 3 years now. What039;s self care apps do you use? ✏@heyamberrae
The tuna melt and pastrami toastie from @olliesdeli looking mighty fine. They039;re well balanced in flavour and they039;re not greasy (my pet peeve!). You can never go wrong with a toastie. For some reason there seems to be a huge toastie phase in Melbourne BUT I039;m definitely not complaining. Where039;s your favourite toastie?
Wine time. I039;ve been practising this super power for awhile. It took a lot of wine to get there.
Coffee ➕ day dreaming about my favourite place on Earth - Hawaii. Where would be the first place you would travel to overseas? .... I039;m playing around with my coffee pics again via the Snapseed app. My coffee photo - NYC 2018 Hawaii photo @adventures_ofjess
