Recommendations for a few of the top restaurant views around the world! One of my favorite parts of traveling is checking out new restaurants & the views. This was taken at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach and reminded me so much of Italy! A few other top restaurant/ bar views we love are: - Mariposa in Sedona - Grand Old House in the Cayman Islands - Mr Purple in New York City - Jules Verne at the top of the Eiffel Tower - Mila in Miami Any spots you recommend we check out next?!
Bahamas famous resorts: the Cove Atlantis vs Baha Mar. We spent half our trip at The Cove Atlantis and half of our trip at Baha Mar. Both resorts are beautiful and both have different advantages. The Atlantis offers SO much for kids and teenagers, where Baha Mar is geared (in my opinion) towards 20 somethings and up. Both have private beaches, casinos, water parks, restaurants and shopping. The Atlantis Cove beach is more private while Baha Mar has a ton of wildlife (turtles, rays and fish) right off the shore. Both resorts have an 18+ pool as well for adults. We found Baha Mar’s to be slightly more luxurious and the Cove’s to be a little more wild/ fun. You really can’t go wrong with either stay and there is an endless amount of things to do at both. The Atlantis is more family friendly with things to do for all ages while Baha Mar is a more luxurious, romantic escape.
Diving with these beautiful animals was one of the most eye opening experiences. I grew up being SO afraid of sharks after watching things like jaws and shark week. The more time I’ve spent underwater, the more I’ve realized how peaceful they are. Sharks are apex predators and deserve our respect, however they want absolutely nothing to do with humans when it comes to meal time. If you get the chance, I’d highly recommend diving with these graceful animals & seeing their world 🌊
I still can’t get over the fact that the Bahamas is home to 700 islands and more than 2,000 cays! Such a dream having this little island to ourselves yesterday 🤍 Save this post if you plan on visiting the Bahamas at some point! A few things I would add to your must do list: - Visit Exuma & swim with the pigs! Unfortunately we didn’t have time for this but heard a ton of incredible reviews! This is what I’m most excited to do when we come back 🐷 - Explore the islands off Nassau with a local captain. The locals are SO sweet and will give you the best insights🏝 - Swim with the turtles! They’re pretty common and there are a few spots specifically they hang out 🐢
