😍Monstera adansonii, the Adanson's monstera, Swiss cheese plant, or five holes plant, is a species of flowering plant from family Araceae which is widespread across much of South America and Central America

💚Care & Tips💚

1.) Lights☘️
To stay healthy and strong, Monstera adansonii requires bright, indirect sunlight for at least six hours per day. If your Monstera receives too little light, it can result in a leggy or sickly plant. But too much light can burn the leaves of your Swiss cheese plant and may harm your Monstera adansonii.

2.) Water☘️
Monstera Adansonii likes evenly moist but well-draining soil. The plant should be watered when the top 3-4 inches of the potting mix are dry. This converted to days would be every 7-8 days in the summer and every 13-14 days in the cooler months

3.) Brown leaves☘️
💚Brown leaf tips on a Monstera adansonii💚
🔥Brown leaf tips and edges could mean your Monstera adansonii is getting too much direct sunlight. ...

🔥The next option is that you are giving your Monstera too much or too little water. Think about it. ...

🔥The third possibility is that your plant isn't getting enough humidity.

4.) Propagation☘️
To propagate Monstera adansonii in water, use clean scissors to take a cutting with a couple of leaves off the mother plant, cutting about a 1/4 inch below a node (this means the node is included on the cutting). The nodes are where the new roots will sprout from.

5.) Soil Mix☘️
The Monstera Adansonii grows best in a well-draining Aroid mix using bark, perlite, peat moss, and charcoal. Keep your plant in bright indirect light and humidity above 60%. When watering, make sure that the potting mix of your Adansonii remains slightly moist and water about once a week.

6.) Pest☘️
Two sucking pests are common for monstera adansonii – spider mites and scale insects. Small populations of scale insect

💚Is garlic peel good for rose plants?
Onion and garlic peels are a great way to add nutrients to your plant compost without spending any money. So don't throw away the skins, use them to create organic potassium-rich fertilizer for all your plants growing indoors or outdoors. Using them will increase their disease resistance, growth, and productivity.

💚What is garlic peel good for?
The outer skins of onion and garlic provide an excellent source of vitamins A, C, E, and numerous antioxidants.

💚Can I put garlic in compost?
No matter how old or fresh the garlic is, you can put it in compost. Every part of garlic, in fact, can be composted, including the cloves, skins, and scalps.

💚Take a handful of Garlic peels (of about 3-4 big garlic of 5-6 medium-sized garlic) and soak them in 1-litre water for 24 hours. Use the drained water in your garden the following day. The peels can go with the water too. If you fertilise your plants regularly, do this only once in 15 days. You can see the result in a couple of months.

To make this process quicker, you can boil the garlic peels in a more diluted proportion for a couple of hours. Mix this slurry with room temperature water for your plants. However, the soaking method comes highly recommended rather than boiling.

☘️What is coir stick?
Coco grow poles are made by wrapping coir fibre sheets around PVC pipes or wood sticks. ... Coco poles being porous enables the high moisture retention capacity to the stick and allows the roots of the plant to grip naturally into the coir fibre. Coco poles can be used in any type of clay or plastic pots.

💚How do you keep the coco coir pole moist?

Step by step Procedure
🔥Take a plastic bottle and a needle.

🔥Make a few small holes at the bottom of the bottle.

🔥Tie the bottle with the moss pole as shown in the picture.

🔥Fill the bottle with water.
Keep the plants in a moist area.

🔥Use a pebble tray.

🔥Buy a humidifier.

💚What can I plant around a pole?
Plant a climbing vine at the base of the post. As the vine grows, train it to wrap around and grow up the light post. If the vine doesn't cling well to the post, you can tie the vine to the post with soft twine

💚Can you use coco coir for moss poles?
Can you use coco coir for moss poles? Coco coir makes an excellent alternative to sphagnum or sheet moss for moss poles. It's less water retentive but still provides a stable material that's easy for plants to root into.

💚How do you attach Monstera to coir pole?
Using a soft plant tie, tie the thickest stem of your Monstera Deliciosa to the pole at several points along the stem. Trim the more horizontally growing stems to stimulate vertical growth. Over time, the aerial roots will stick to the moss pole, and the plant will grow vertically.

🌶️CARE TO BE TAKEN FOR GREEN CHILLI PLANTS🌶️

🌧️Watering: Water them frequently depending on the season.

☀️Sunlight: They should get 5 to 6 hours of light daily.

🌱Fertilizers: In case your plants are not growing well then add fertilizers.

🌳Pests and diseases: If you are not treating your plants carefully pests may attack. You can spray Neem oil to avoid diseases.

💚Neem oil: Add 20 to 50 ml of neem oil to a liter of water and spray on the plants. If the condition is severe spray it once or twice in a week.

☘️HARVEST GREEN CHILLIES FROM YOUR PLANTS:

Your chillies are ready to harvest in 80 to 90 days. You can harvest green chillies once they have grown completely. Chillies used for drying are harvested at full ripe-stage which can be turned into chilli powder.

1. Get chili seeds which is heart shaped and brown in color. Chilli seeds require 20° C to germinate.

2. You can sow several seeds per pot. Place your chili seeds on top of the soil ( sprinkle the seeds on soil ) and cover with thin layer of soil.

3. Use plastic container rather than terracotta as it draws moisture out of the soil. Chilli ( Capsicumannuum ) like warm and humid conditions.

4. Use a multipurpose compost mix. Water your green chilli seedlings twice a week throughout the growing season to keep the soil moist to a depth of several inches.

5.Insect and pests that commonly affect green chillies are aphids, cutworms and whiteflies. Use 2 tablespoons cooking oil and 2 tablespoons of baby shampoo with 1 gallon of water to eradicate pests.

6. Plant grows upto 60 cm height and will be ready for harvesting.
