Perfect way to start the morning with 2 of my favorites, coffee and baking! I’m not a fan of blueberries, but everyone else in the house loves them! So homemade blueberry muffins it is.🫐 @joannagaines cookbooks has the best recipes and super easy directions to follow! It’s my favorite! Also, how’s the temps where you’re at? It’s currently 72° here, but the lows at nights are in the 50’s and 60’s! I’m beyond ready for fall weather, crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice and all the football.🍂🏈
Good morning coffee, before my babies and husband wake up for the day.☀️🦊 Long time, no post. Life update, shall we? School has started back here. A new school for not just one of my babies, but BOTH! I can’t even believe both of my girls are now in school. But on the plus side, they love it. Fast forward to 5 days after school started, I went to the doctor for what I thought was a sinus infection. Nope, it was coronavirus! Thankfully my case was mild (tiredness, fever of 99°one day, easily winded, & loss of taste/smell) I had no aches, pains, chills or struggling to breathe. Thank the lord! Also, my husband and babies are all doing great, no covid for them! Of course we had to quarantine due to my positive testing, but during the midst of quarantine our electric got turned on in our new home! So exciting, so we’re now permanently living in it! Also, my quarantine is finally up! But my sweet babies get another week off of school due to their exposure of being around me. The same week or the next week after I tested positive, 4 more family members also tested positive. Thankfully all are on the mend now! Y’all this virus is no joke, even the mild case I had got me down for a few days!😷🥴 But life is well now! No more coronavirus, we got electric (now waiting for the Internet company to come out and hook up the Internet, we’ve currently been waiting a week), the majority of the unpacking is done, and the decorating has began!👏🏼🏡
Let’s be honest, I’ve never had an interest in cooking. I love to bake, just not cooking. But my eyes caught the Magnolia Table (Volume 2) by @joannagaines & I knew I needed it! The recipes in this cookbook look absolutely delicious, cannot wait to cook & taste them all. I also cannot wait to display it in our kitchen!❤️⏲🥘
As much as I miss the city life, I enjoy having a yard for my babies play in and to just sit & relax in. Even on days when it’s pushing every bit of 90° we still enjoy having a yard, most particularly the SHADE in this heat!🌳🥵 You can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl. Although I was born and raised in the mountains of Eastern KY for 19 years, living in the city for 8 years just captured my heart. Now getting use to the quiet and peacefulness is going to take a LOT of getting use to. Are you a city or country kind of person?
Tomorrow is a very exciting day for us to prepare for our move, with that being said I figured I’d share 2 more sneak peeks.❤️👀 On social media you always see the big extravagant homes, chandeliers, white/bright homes, etc. But let’s be real, that’s not everybody’s reality or just simply not what everyone wants! Our home is basic, to be quiet frankly honest it’s a mobile home but it’s ours and we absolutely LOVE it. Most importantly it’s OURS! I love the simplicity of it & I love that it’s our first ever home. I can’t wait to make it cozy, decorate it, & make years of memories in it. I remember the days I prayed for the things I have now. It’s took my husband and I both busting our asses for 8 years to finally be home owners. Soon there will be no more monthly rent, no more inspections, no more noisy neighbors, and most importantly no more living in a bad neighborhood. As we count down our days/weeks left in this apartment, I will forever be humbled to have called this home for the 8 years we’ve lived here. The memories we have made in this apartment I will always hold dear to my heart. I’m thankful for all that the Lord has blessed my family and I with.❤️ I can’t wait to share this new adventure with you...🏡

Starbucks Double Shot Espresso and Puppy Cuddles is how I spent my Thursday afternoon.🐾 His first night with us went really well! He loves car rides, so we took a car ride to town, played, took naps and countless cuddles. He’s literally just a a big 70 lb. teddy bear in dog form. He’s the perfect fit for our family.❤️🐶
