Soul Space Tip: Create a good sleep self care routine. 🌙

✨Create a good morning daily routine: Try to wake up at a similar time to improve your  body clock and get yourself in-front of natural light in the morning to suppress melatonin and boost alertness.

✨Avoid caffeine eight hours before bed: It is best to reduce the caffeine by mid afternoon so that it doesn’t disrupt your sleep. Try drinking herbal tea such as camomile or mint. 

✨A relaxing bedroom environment that helps you sleep: Making your bedroom cool, quiet, clutter free and creating a relaxing space will aid to help you sleep better. Using an eye mask helps to block out any brightness in the room. 

✨Listen to music, read, try breath work, meditation, mindfulness techniques or a relaxing warm bath: These approaches help to calm our mind and body before bedtime. 
Turn your phone off and remove from your bedroom. This helps to remove blue light, reduce the temptation to check social media or emails. 

✨Keep a pen and note book by your bedside: Journal before bed, write out your grateful list, write down any worries or even your to-do list to help quieten the mind.
